• The MasterTech Steiner Stain Kit differs from similar kits by eliminating radioactive Uranyl Nitrate, providing pre-measured Hydroquinone capsules, and modifying the original technique, which creates a safer, easier to use procedure that provides optimal staining results and reduced background staining
• Silver Nitrate, developed by the Hydroquinone based reducing solution serves as the primary stain, producing dark brown to black Donovan bodies, fungi, Helicobacter pylori, legionella pneumophila, and spirochetes, against a yellow to brown background
• 100 mL Stain Kit yields between 20-32 slides
• 100 mL Kit Consists of: 10% Zinc Formalin 100 mL, 1% Silver Nitrate 5 mL, 0.1% Silver Nitrate 100 mL, Hydroquinone Capsules 5 each, Oxidizer Solution 100 mL and 2.5% Gum Mastic 125 mL
