Description

A kit for extracting total nucleic acid (TNA) from swab specimens in Universal Transport Medium (UTM) on the BD MAX™ System.

The BD MAX™ ExK™ TNA-3 is intended to extract total nucleic acid (TNA) from swab specimens in Universal Transport Medium (UTM). The TNA Extraction Tube contains a Specimen Processing Control sequence from a proprietary Armored RNA Quant™ (Asuragen, Inc.).* The BD MAX ExK TNA-3 has not been validated for use with any specific test method.
