The McPherson-Vannas spring scissors were originally designed by Dr. David McPherson and Dr. Erkki Vannas in the 1970s specifically for microsurgery, which requires precision in the dissection of delicate tissues. These surgical scissors are 8cm long. The fine (0.3mm), rounded tips of these Vannas spring scissors reduce the risk of accidental tissue damage because they won't puncture. They also offer greater visibility of the surgical site in confined spaces. For even greater visibility at the tip, select the curved blades. They are available with blades that are straight, curved, angled at 45 degrees, or angled on the flat face.
