MDL-800 is a selective activator of SIRT6 which increases SIRT6 deacetylation activity by up to 22-fold, causing a decrease in H3K9Ac and H3K56Ac levels in human HCC cell, leads to cell cycle arrest and inhibition of cell proliferation.
