The Shaw Plugs 14M035 Mechanical Expansion Plug is a 3/8" diameter zinc alloy expansion anchor with a 1-1/4" embedment depth. It has a tensile strength of 225 lbs in 2500 psi concrete and is designed for use in cracked and uncracked concrete. The anchor body is zinc plated and it comes with a zinc plated steel screw. This mechanical anchor requires a 7/16" diameter hole and is ideal for hanging pipe, conduit, cable trays, signs, fixtures, and more from concrete. It meets ASTM E488 and Federal Specification A-A-1923A.
