The Shaw Plugs 14M034 Mechanical Expansion Plug is a 3/8" diameter zinc alloy expansion anchor with a 1-1/4" embedment depth. It is designed for use in concrete and can support up to 75 lbs in tension and 225 lbs in shear. The expansion plug has a split end that expands outward when a screw is inserted to grip the sides of the hole tightly. It requires a 7/16" diameter hole and includes the screw for installation. This is a cost-effective concrete fastener for light-duty applications.
