The Shaw Plugs 14M004 Mechanical Expansion Plug is a 3/8" diameter zinc-plated steel mechanical expansion anchor with a 1-1/4" embedment depth. It is designed for use in concrete and can withstand up to 75 lbs of load. The anchor has a split end that expands outward when a screw is inserted to grip the sides of the hole. This is an economical basic anchor for light duty applications.
