The Shaw Plugs Mechanical Expansion Plug is a mechanical expansion anchor made of zinc plated steel with a hex head. It is designed for use in concrete and masonry base materials. The plug has an ultimate pullout strength of 220 lbs in 2,500 psi concrete when installed with a 1/4" x 2-3/4" screw. It requires a 7/16" hole size for installation. The overall length is 1-1/4" with a thread diameter of 1/4"-20. This is a zinc plated steel mechanical expansion anchor used to hang pipe, conduit, cable trays, electrical boxes, signs and other attachments to concrete or masonry.
