The Shaw Plugs 14M011 Mechanical Expansion Plug is a 3/8" diameter zinc alloy expansion anchor with a 1-1/4" embedment depth. It is designed for use in hardened concrete and can withstand tension loads up to 50 lbs and shear loads up to 30 lbs. The expansion plug features a split expansion clip and cone expander for easy installation by hammering directly into a pre-drilled hole. Once set, it provides a permanent threaded anchor point to attach fixtures and other hardware to concrete surfaces. This zinc alloy plug offers corrosion resistance for long-lasting durability.
