The Shaw Plugs Mechanical Expansion Plug is a mechanical expansion anchor made of zinc plated steel with a 3/8" diameter and 1-3/4" length. It has a hex head and is designed for use in hardened concrete. The anchor is inserted into a pre-drilled hole and then tightened to expand the anchor for a secure hold. This product can be used for commercial applications like hanging pipe, conduit, light fixtures, signs, and more from concrete walls and ceilings. The anchor has a temperature range of -20°F to 150°F and meets ASTM F593 standards. It is sold individually.
