The Shaw Plugs 14M030 Mechanical Expansion Plug is a 3/8" diameter zinc-plated steel mechanical expansion anchor with a 1-1/4" embedment depth. It is designed for use in hardened concrete and can withstand tension loads up to 60 lbs and shear loads up to 45 lbs. The expansion plug features a cone expander with zinc plating for corrosion resistance. To install, simply drill the appropriate sized hole, insert the plug and drive the pin until it bottoms out. This provides an economical threaded anchor point in concrete.
