Description

Melt Step™ Snow Melting Mats are designed to help keep walkways free of snow and ice to minimize the risk of slip-and-fall accidents.

  • Effective – Mat will heat to approximately 40 to 45˚F above ambient air temperature
  • Safe – Waterproof electrical connection system with GFCI switch prevents electrical shock hazard
  • Certified high-traction by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI)
  • Durable – Molded nitrile rubber construction is waterproof, UV-resistant, and flexible even in freezing temperatures
  • Scalable – Up to 4 mats can be connected in sequence to cover up to 20 linear feet of walkway
  • All Melt Step mats are 3 x 5 ft. with choice of one connector or two connectors; unique reversible design of the mat permits electrical connection on the right or left side of the walkway
  • 6 ft. power cord (120 volts) with GFCI switch as well as 6 ft. extension cord are both sold separately
