  • Can be used to preserve fecal specimens for all intestinal parasites, exam by wet mount, concentration and permanent stain procedures
  • 10mL liquid: 31% alcohol, 5% glacial acetic acid, 5% PVA; 2% cupric sulfate, 2% glycerol, and water
  • Fecal tubes used for detecting ova and parasites when present in very low numbers
