The MicroRT Room Temperature Tubing Kit provides a highly cost-effective solution for efficient protein crystallography, allowing rapid screening of crystals at room temperature. This kit includes 20 - 1.5" (37 mm) long, clear polyester capillaries, each pre-sealed at one end, plus an extra-keen razor blade for custom cutting and a tube of grease for lubrication. These 2 mm diameter, 25 µm wall polymer capillaries offer significantly less X-ray background scatter than traditional alternatives, enhancing data quality. They are designed to be easily drawn over samples mounted on MicroMounts or MicroGrippers within goniometer bases, ensuring easy mounting with minimal risk of crystal loss or damage. The system allows convenient collection of both room and low-temperature data from the same sample, along with easy visualization and alignment. Capillaries are reusable, lowering cost per measurement, streamlining your diffraction pipeline.
