Our Mini Ring-Handled Dissecting Scissors are similar to regular dissecting scissors, but they are shorter and have more delicate tips, making them ideal for fine dissection work in tight spaces. They are commonly used in microsurgery, like ophthalmic surgery. These scissors are 9.5cm (3.75") long and have curved blades. These have regular sized blades. (Medium and fine blades are also available on our Mini Dissecting Scissors. Our dissecting scissors are for general use in dissection, preparation of tissue samples, and small animal surgeries. Dissecting scissors have thinner (and often longer) blades than operating scissors. They are designed for cutting and probing in tight spaces. Their tips are pointed, where operating scissors are generally blunt. These are available in surgical grade stainless steel. Our Dissecting Scissors are designed to withstand the high heat and chemical exposure of the sterilization process.
