The Monarch gDNA Cell Lysis Buffer is a component of the Monarch Genomic DNA Purification Kit . It provides mild lysis conditions that help to reduce the viscosity common in cell samples. Optimized for speed and efficiency, this buffer requires only a 5 minute lysis incubation time with Monarch Proteinase K and Monarch RNase A to obtain maximal yields of highly pure and intact gDNA with a typical peak size >60 kb.
