The Monarch Mag Viral DNA/RNA Extraction Kit is designed for hands-free isolation of viral nucleic acid from saliva, respiratory-swab samples using automated processing and liquid handling systems. The kit features a magnetic bead-based method for extraction and purification and is compatible with automated instruments such as KingFisher, Agilent Bravo, and more, as well as manual workflows. The kit enables highly sensitive detection and amplification in qPCR/RT-qPCR, ddPCR applications and is compatible with other downstream applications such as sequencing/NGS. Carrier RNA is included as a co-precipitant in the workflow to enhance the recovery of low amounts of viral RNA.
