Most efficient reagent for the selective preparation of Fmoc-derivatives of hydroxy amino acids in high yield. The advantage of Fmoc-OSu is that little or no oligopeptides are formed when amino acid derivatives are prepared. The use of this reagent in the synthesis of glycopeptides has been reported as well.
