Motility Test Medium with TTC, 4mL Polycarbonate Tubes, 10/Pk is a semi solid culture medium designed for the detection of bacterial motility in microbiological testing. The formulation contains Triphenyl Tetrazolium Chloride (TTC), a redox indicator that forms a red colored compound when reduced by metabolically active bacteria, making motile growth patterns easy to visualize. The low agar concentration allows motile organisms to migrate away from the stab line while non motile bacteria remain confined to the inoculation point. Each tube contains 4mL of prepared medium in durable polycarbonate tubes that support secure handling and contamination control. This medium is widely used in clinical, food safety, environmental, and academic laboratories for routine phenotypic bacterial identification.
