abberior MOUNT SOLID ANTIFADE is an aqueous mounting medium designed for confocal and superresolution microscopy. The refractive index (before hardening) is identical to that of many biological samples (n=1.38). Specimen mounting using abberior MOUNT SOLID ANTIFADE is convenient since no dilution series is required. After specimen mounting, the embedding medium is hardening. So sealing of the mounted specimen with nail polish or similar is not required. abberior MOUNT SOLID ANTIFADE prevents photobleaching and preserves the signal of fluorescent labels. For scientific use only. Must not be used for diagnostic or medical purposes.
