The Instech C10SS-MTV2026P is a 29-gauge (29ga) stainless steel tail vein cannula designed for manual dosing or sampling in restrained mice. This system features a sharp needle with a needle guard for safety and a 9.8 in (25 cm) segment of PE-10 extension tubing. To create a low-dead-volume closed system, it includes an integrated PinPort™ and an injector for aseptic access. Because it uses a sharp needle rather than a flexible catheter, it is intended for immediate use during brief restraint and is not designed for long-term implantation. Each unit is EtO sterilized and individually packaged to ensure surgical-grade cleanliness for laboratory research applications.
