The Mvein™ restrainer is designed to improve the safety and ease of mouse-tail vein injections by using a head cone instead of the traditional nose cone. This prevents asphyxiation, while still allowing head movement. It is the first restrainer of its kind, enabling head-first or tail-first loading, which reduces stress on the mouse's tail. The Mvein™ restrainer’s rectangular design is ideal for mice with flank tumors in xenograft studies. It accommodates mice of nearly all sizes (15-40g) and can be rotated 90 degrees for easy access to the vein, making it suitable for injections, blood sampling, and blood pressure monitoring.
