Boc-Lys(Ac)-AMC is a cell-permeable fluorogenic substrate used to measure histone deacetylase (HDAC) activity in enzymatic and cell-based assays. After HDAC-mediated deacetylation and protease cleavage, the AMC fluorophore is released and quantified by fluorescence (Ex/Em = 355 nm/460 nm), enabling sensitive HDAC activity detection and inhibitor screening.
