The NADPH regenerating system consists of two parts, Solutions A and B. They are sold separately. Solution A comprises NADP+ and Glc-6-PO4. When combined, Solutions A and B can be used for all NADPH requiring oxidase assays. NADPH is a necessary cofactor in many xenobiotic metabolism reactions. It is required for measuring oxidase activities catalyzed by P450s, FMOs, NADPH-P450 reductase, and many other oxidase enzymes. Limitation of the cofactor in an enzyme reaction will affect enzyme kinetics adversely. The Corning NADPH regenerating system is optimized to use with Corning recombinant enzymes and liver microsome and S9 products. It provides convenience to researchers and is easy to use. About 200 to 400 enzyme assays can be performed using each system, depending on experimental design.
