Neuromedin U-25 is a 25 amino acid neuropeptide found in the human brain that has functions in smooth muscle contraction, blood pressure regulation, bone growth, pain perception, appetite, and hormone release. Isoforms of different lengths are found in different species. Found to be overexpressed in pancreatic cancers. Activates the neuromedin receptors nMU1R and nMU2R. Provided as 500μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
