Nickel(II) oxide, 99% (metals basis)
Description
It is used in nickel-iron battery (Edison Battery) and fuel cells. It is a precursor for many nickel salts and nickel alloys including nickel-steel allys, for example invar and elinvar. It is used in electrochromic devices, frits, ferrites, and porcelain glazes. It also serves as a hydrogenation catalyst.
