Not recommended for samples containing hydrofluoric acid (HF). Replace skimmer cone screws if corroded or worn (SZ5002). Use 10x Magnifier Inspection Tool with Built-In LED Illumination (NC2042261) to inspect cone orifice condition. When not in use, keep cones stored in original packaging for protection.For samples containing HF, and other highly corrosive samples where acid concentration begin to exceed 5%, we recommend a platinum cone, see catalog number 501907703.
