Our Heavy Duty Nail Nippers have double concave jaws and a double spring mechanism. Nail Nippers are designed for cutting through nails or dense tissues. This instrument is 14 cm (5.5") long. Both blades of these nippers are concave in shape and curve inward, hence the double concave jaw design. This increases the contact area with the material being sheared and distributes the force more evenly, giving you more power with each cut. The double spring mechanism also gives you more leverage when cutting through thick tissues. These springs are positioned between the two handles and help to distribute the force you apply. As you release pressure on the handles, the springs push the blades apart, resetting the jaws. You get controlled, effortless cutting action for minimal hand fatigue. These are made of surgical grade stainless steel or premium German steel, both of which are suitable for autoclaving or chemical sterilants.
