The Thermo Scientific™ Orion™ AQUAfast™ AQ3140 COD colorimeter is a single parameter instrument for determining chemical oxygen demand in water. This colorimeter is designed to give accurate, reproducible results by offering features such as large digital backlit display, automatic switch-off, user friendly keypad, real time clock and date, calibration mode, storage function, waterproof sample chamber, and many more! The AQUAfast AQ3140 COD colorimeter is used in markets such as wastewater, food & beverage, aquaculture, and agriculture.

The Orion AQUAfast AQ3140 COD colorimeter is ideal for the dedicated COD (chemical oxygen demand) testing of water and wastewater including industrial wastewater and is designed to assist with meeting US EPA testing compliance for COD measurements of wastewater samples. Using two LED light sources at 430 nm and 610nm wavelengths, this colorimeter measures three COD testing ranges of low range 0 to 150mg/L, mid range 0 to 1500mg/L and high range 0 to 15000mg/L. The AQ3140 COD colorimeter is CE certified, IP-67 waterproof and accepts Orion AQUAfast 16mm COD dichromate digestion tubes, available in standard 25 tube packs and new 150 bulk tube packs. The Orion AQUAfast COD165 thermoreactor is also available as a separate accessory for digestion tests.
