Measure total residual chlorine quickly and accurately with Thermo Scientific™ Orion™ Chlorine Electrodes. All forms of total residual chlorine (free chlorine, hypochlorites and chlorine bound to nitrogenous compounds) are measured.

The ThermoFisher Orion Chlorine electrode complies with SM 4500-Cl I for Drinking water measurements.

Features:

  • The method permits rapid analysis to be done at the sampling site, eliminating erroneous low readings due to Cl2 loss. It requires the addition of two reagents to the sample before measurement.
  • Total chlorine residual in wastewater is measured directly by the Orion 9770BNWP Chlorine ion-selective electrode regardless of color or turbidity.

  • Reagents
    • 977010 Iodide reagent, 5 x 50 mL bottles
