Reagent red blood cells are used in the detection and identification of a variety of blood group antibodies

  • Tests include hemagglutination and hemolysis-based results
  • A variety of testing functions are available, including:
    • Detection and/or identification of unexpected blood group antibodies
    • Affirmation of expected group antibodies
    • Serum grouping
    • Confirmation of negative antiglobulin tests
  • Screening for RhD (Rh0) positive fetal red blood cells
