With a full 1 mL capacity and a tip diameter twice as large as standard tips, the Biomek P1000 pre-sterile wide bore tips are made for the Span-8 attachment and useful in several applications: library construction for next generation sequencing sample prep with a viscous bead mixture; stem cell research to reduce the inadvertent cell lysis of large cell-aggregates of embryoid bodies; nucleic acid preparation to minimize DNA shearing; cellular applications where pipetting of viscous solutions, such as glycerol solution, is commonly used; bio-fuels/bio-energy research where cellulose slurries may clog standard tips; and crop research/seed development where samples may contain large particulates. Tips are manufactured to the highest standards and guaranteed to be free of DNA, DNase/RNase, PCR inhibition, pyrogen/endotoxin and trace metals. Case of 5 racks.
