Unstained mixture of 14 recombinant, highly purified proteins (10kDa to 200kDa) for use as size standards in protein electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and western blotting.

Thermo Scientific PageRuler Unstained Protein Ladder is a mixture of 14 recombinant, highly purified, unstained proteins (10 to 200 kDa) for use as size standards in protein electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and western blotting. The protein ladder is supplied in a ready-to-use format for direct loading onto gels; no need to heat, reduce, or add sample buffer prior to use.

Features of the PageRuler Unstained Protein Ladder include:

• Reference bands—50 kDa band is stronger than the others for easy orientation
• Tagged—the ladder proteins contains an integral Strep-tag™ II sequence and can be detected on western blots using Strep-Tactin™ conjugates or an antibody against Strep-tag™ II Sequence

Applications

• Accurate protein sizing on SDS-polyacrylamide gels and western blots
