CELL TYPE: Lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, natural killer [NK] cells). CULTURE TYPE: Suspension. GLUTAMINE: With L-glutamine. STERILE: Yes. STORAGE TEMP: -20°C. COMPOSITION: Based on Iscove's MEM, the medium is enriched with additional trace elements, albumin, cholesterol, lipids and vitamins. It contains the mitogen phytohemagglutinin (PHA) for the growth stimulation of lymphocytes. This product contains traces of animal-derived components (< 0.2% w/v) and proteins (< 0.2% w/v). APPLICATION: Panserin 701 has been developed for the serum-free cultivation of lymphocytes from whole blood. The plant lectin (PHA) in Panserin 701 stimulates cell division.
