Dulbecco's Phosphate Buffered Saline 10X is a stock solution used to prepare 1X D-PBS in cell culture grade water. D-PBS is used to wash cells during preparation and serial transfer. Phosphate buffering maintains the pH in the physiological range. Calcium and magnesium facilitate cell binding and clumping. DPBS without these ions can be used to wash and rinse suspended cells. Used to wash cells during preparation and serial transfer.
