ScyTek Phosphate Buffered Saline (25x) pH of 7.6 is an optimal formulation of pH stabilizers and salts designed to effectively remove excess material from the microtiter plate wells without disrupting the ELISA binding reaction. By maintaining the proper buffering environment, unbound components can be washed away without suppressing antigen-antibody binding interactions, thereby reducing nonspecific background and increasing the specific signal. Our Wash buffers do not contain hazardous preservatives such as Azide or Mercury that may interfere with antibody-antigen binding interactions. For your convenience wash buffer is offered in a wide variety of formulations to meet the needs of your specific ELISA application.
