PD0325901 is a synthetic, orally active MEK1 and MEK2 inhibitor (Ki=1.1 and 0.79, respectively) that research shows inhibits the growth of melanoma cell lines in vitro and in vivo. Has antiangiogenic activity via inhibiting production of VEGF proangiogenic cytokines, and suppresses the phosphorylation of ERK and the RAS/RAF/MEK/ERK signaling pathway, which is frequently active in tumors. Provided as 5mg of dry powder. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
