STEMCELL Technologies PD173074, Size: 10 mg

Supplier: STEMCELL Technologies 72164
Inhibit FGFR and suppress the differentiation of mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells with PD173074 (Kunath et al. Development, 2007, Ying et al. Nature, 2008). PD173074 is used to block neural differentiation of mouse ES cells (Stavridis et al. Development, 2007); promoting differentiation of human ES cells, but not when they are in a naïve or "ground" state (Hanna et al. Proc Natl Acad Sci USA, 2010); and to prevent excision-mediated differentiation of mouse induced pluripotent stem cells generated using piggyBac transposons (Kaji et al. Nature, 2009). In combination with other small molecules, PD173074 is also used to reprogram human ES cells to naïve cells or maintain human ES cells in their naïve state (Hanna et al. Proc Natl Acad Sci USA, 2010). PD173074 is supplied as a crystalline solid with ≥98% purity; Molecular weight 523.7 g/mol; CAS Number 219580-11-7.
