Potato Dextrose Agar is also used for the maintenance of stock cultures of certain dermatophytes and for the differentiation of varieties of dermatophytes via pigment production. Each lot of media from MOLTOX is tested for sterility, where applicable, and its ability to support the growth of the appropriate microorganism. All media are accompanied by GLP-compliant formulation and Quality Control certificate.
