Pefloxacin-d3 (Pefloxacinium-d3) is a deuterium-labeled version of the broad-spectrum antibiotic Pefloxacin. It blocks DNA replication by inhibiting DNA gyrase and also inhibits DNA relaxation catalyzed by topoisomerase I with an IC50 of 45 μg/mL. This compound demonstrates antibacterial activity against various bacteria such as *Escherichia coli*, *Pseudomonas aeruginosa*, and *Bacteroides fragilis*.
