The Vector Laboratories DAB Peroxidase Substrate Kit with Nickel includes a nickel solution that can change the reaction product color from brown to gray/black. This kit provides all of the necessary reagents in convenient dropper bottles and works well for both IHC and blot-based protein detection. Slides developed with DAB/ Ni should be dehydrated, cleared, and permanently mounted. This kit can be used to prepare 300 ml of working solution. Vector Laboratories horseradish peroxidase (HRP) substrate kits include options that are cost-effective (e.g. standard DAB), sensitive (e.g ImmPACT DAB) and convenient (ImmPACT DAB EqV). The range of vibrant colors available facilitates multiplex staining and optimum contrast with pigmented tissues and counterstains.
