Supplier: List Biological Laboratories Inc 188L
Since 1978, List Labs products are unsurpassed in quality, consistency, and reliability for the success of your research and development projects! Adenlyate cyclase toxin-hemolysin is an important virulence factor for Bordetella pertussis. It is a large (178 kDa) toxin consisting of an amino-terminal adenylate cyclase and repeat toxin (RTX) moiety. The RTX domain is responsible for target binding, pore-formation, and calcium binding. Adenylate cyclase toxin targets sentinel cells of the host immune system. It penetrates a variety of immune cells and when activated interferes with cell signaling and with the anti-bacterial activity of phagocytes.
