Paraoxon-ethyl is an organophosphate pesticide and an inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase, which can also serve as a well-known surrogate of chemical warfare agents. It can undergo degradation by using titania nanoparticles, which are immobilized on glass or quartz substrates.
