The PTF 200 is a double drum tablet friability and abrasion test instrument manufactured in compliance to the USP <1216> that is used to measure strength of tablets, cores, pellets, coated seeds, catalysts, fertilizers and more. The instrument features an automated sample discharge, variable RPM speed (10-100 RPM), built in printer for results report and the possibility to connect an analytical balance. To measure tablet friability or percent loss of weight, samples are dropped using a rotating drum with a baffle. The result is inspected and the percentage of mass lost through chipping is calculated. The unit includes IQ/OQ document package and a 2 Year Warranty.
