The tubing is formulated for peristaltic pump use, tolerates autoclaving and gamma sterilization, and provides an opaque barrier for light-sensitive media.
- Designed for peristaltic pump applications with extended flex life and reduced downtime.
- 1/16 in inner diameter, 3/16 in outer diameter, 1/16 in wall thickness, supplied in 25 ft lengths.
- Opaque cream thermoplastic with Shore A hardness 64 and maximum service temperature 275 °F (135 °C).
- Meets USP <88> Class VI, USP <87>, and ISO 10993-5 biocompatibility standards.
- Withstands repeated autoclaving (up to five cycles) and gamma irradiation up to 50 kGy.
- Good resistance to acids, alkalis, and oxidizers, and lower gas permeability than silicone tubing.
