Phenyl β-D-glucopyranoside is a compound isolated from Phellodendron amurense. It demonstrates anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor activities by inhibiting nitric oxide (NO) production and the expression of iNOS and COX-2. Additionally, it impedes the nuclear translocation of NF-κB and the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines and related genes.

  • Significantly inhibits the expression of inflammatory factors (IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6, COX-2, CXCL1, MCP-1) induced by LPS in Raw 264.7 cells.
  • Concentration-dependently inhibits MMP-2 and MMP-9 enzyme activity and Ninj1 expression in Raw 264.7 cells.
  • Inhibits adhesion to fibronectin, type I collagen, laminin, and gelatin in Raw 264.7 cells.
