HOYA™ Phoenix 1.53 is a Trivex-based optical material that provides mechanical strength and robustness without compromise to optical quality.

  • Ideal lens material for people with an active lifestyle, in particularly children, and for those whom confidence in their lenses is the most important factor.
  • Ideal for the most common prescriptions, moderate to medium myopes (up to -5.00) and moderate to medium hyperopes (up to a +5.00).
  • It's mechanical properties make it particularly good for rimless drill mounts and semi-rimless frames.
  • Phoenix is one of only two materials that are recommended for use in children by the American Optometric Association.
  • Additionally, Phoenix provides 100% UVA and UVB protection.
