For larger sizes, the number of freeze/thaws may be reduced by preparing aliquots, aliquots below 20 μL are not recommended. Please never store a kinase diluted. PI4KB and PI4KA are the two human type III PI4 kinases, which share sequence similarly with PI3 kinases and phosphorylate the 4 position of phosphotidyl inositol. Transporter for alanine, serine, cysteine, and threonine. Exhibits sodium dependence. Target protein phosphorylates phosphatidylinositol (PtdIns) at the D4 position of the inositol ring; may play a role in neuronal differentiation and maturation.
