Thermo Scientific™ Pierce™ Peptide Clean-Up Spin Tips are sorbent-based devices designed for rapid, reproducible peptide desalting, clean-up, and concentration prior to liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and other mass spectrometry (MS) workflows. These spin tips enable efficient peptide binding and recovery while removing salts, detergents, buffers, denaturants, chaotropes, and other chemistry-compatible contaminants that can interfere with downstream analysis. Available chemistries include octadecyl silica (C18), strong anion exchange (SAX), strong cation exchange (SCX), mixed-mode cation exchange (MCX), styrene divinylbenzene reversed-phase sulfonate (SDB-RPS), and styrene divinylbenzene crosslinked (SDB-XC), enabling selection based on the sample matrix, contaminant profile, and desired clean-up or fractionation strategy.

When used with Pierce™ Spin Tip adaptors (Catalog No. A40011776) and low protein binding microcentrifuge tubes (Catalog No. 90410), Thermo Scientific™ Pierce™ Peptide Clean-Up Spin Tips support a simple centrifugation-based workflow with standard laboratory equipment. The spin tip format provides a straightforward setup for peptide desalting, clean-up, concentration, or chemistry-compatible fractionation before downstream MS analysis.
