PKH67 Green Fluorescent Cell Linker Kit is designed for fluorescent labeling of cell membranes The kit utilizes the green fluorescent probe PKH67 a lipophilic dye that integrates stably into lipid regions of the plasma membrane emitting bright green fluorescence Upon cell division PKH67 distributes evenly among progeny cells causing fluorescence intensity to diminish incrementally with cell proliferation Due to its stability low cytotoxicity and minimal staining of adjacent cells PKH67 is widely applied in vitro and in vivo for tracking cell migration localization and monitoring cell proliferation dynamics Additionally PKH67 can be combined with other fluorescent dyes such as PKH26 for multiplex cell-labeling studies
